Join us for our book club, Page Peepers, via Zoom. Our host is Patty Cheek. Gatherings are the fourth Wednesday of every other month at 7:00 pm.
Our book this month is the story about a parrot named Alex and a scientist named Irene Pepperberg. It’s an incredible story about the relationship that grew between them for thirty years. She found out so much more about “bird brains” than she ever knew from science alone. Just before he died, he said to her, “You be good. I love you.” Astonishing. I tremble to know that there is more to communication between us and animals. See you at the meeting. Patty Cheek
