Would you like to try out a range of spotting scopes? Are you thinking of investing in new binoculars? Do you have questions about tripods? Would you like to learn about and test varied optics?

Bird class instructors and others will bring our birding equipment, providing a wide range from low- to high-cost binoculars, spotting scopes, and tripods. We will also bring our favorite field guides and other bird books and explain why we chose them.

Freeland Park offers plenty of parking, picnic tables and shelter, and close-up and distant birding views.

Sharing equipment in the time of COVID is not ideal. Please be fully vaccinated and wear a mask. We will provide hand sanitizer and equipment for sanitizing eyepieces between users.
