Morning Bird Walks at Deception Pass State Park

  • West Beach at Deception Pass State Park 48.40135099915648, -122.66432747885811 (map)

Meet at West Beach and join AmeriCorps interpretive staff and Whidbey Audubon volunteers for a morning bird walk to discover some of the common, and not so common, species of birds which call the park home. These bird walks are a great opportunity for birders of all levels. You will practice bird identification skills, learn about unique bird habitats, and learn from other birders. We recommend you bring your own binoculars and/or scopes, but will have a few on hand to borrow. Preregistration is not required for this event. A Discover Card is required per vehicle.

We need a Whidbey Audubon volunteer to lead this trip! Please email Field Trip Chair Charlotte Ginn to help or with any questions or call ‭209-352-6534‬

This is a partnership of Whidbey Audubon Society and the Deception Pass State Park Foundation.
