Bird in the Hand

  • Coupeville High School Commons 501 S. Main Street Coupeville, WA 98239 (map)

A family educational event to showcase a large number of bird specimens from our extensive state and federally permitted collection. The bird specimens provide attendees an opportunity to gently pick up a bird and closely examine what it feels and looks like. This event is in conjunction with the Wings over Whidbey Festival, May 18–20. Find out more about Bird in Hand here.

Also, this is an opportunity to learn about other like-minded organizations. The following organizations will staff information tables at Birdathon: Puget Sound Birds Observatory, Whidbey Camano Land Trust, Whidbey Watershed Stewards, Pacific Rim Institute, Salish Sea Guillemot Network, Puget Sound Energy Conservation Program, and WSU Shore Stewards.

Volunteers welcome, contact Robin.
