Morning Bird Walks at Deception Pass State Park - Hoypus Point Trail Loop

Morning Bird Walks at Deception Pass State Park – Join AmeriCorps interpretive staff from Deception Pass State Park and Whidbey Audubon volunteers for a bird walk every other Saturday morning. All levels of birders are welcome and encouraged to attend. We recommend you bring your own binoculars and/or scopes, but the state park will have a few on hand to borrow.

This trip will be led by Jay Adams.

Note from Jay: We will be looking for, and most importantly, listening for, resident and migratory songbirds. I will be focusing on the call notes of Hammond's Flycatcher. Participants may want to do some vocalization homework in preparation for the walk.

Meet at the parking lot at the Hoypus Point trail head at the end of Cornet Bay Rd.
