Wings over Whidbey Updates

Wings over Whidbey Bird Festival is coming up on May 17 at Pacific Rim Institute from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Birding field trips will be offered on May 16 and 17.
Sponsorships
Our sponsorship drive has been beyond successful. We have received $5,700 in sponsorships for our event and a $1,000 in kind donation as advertising in the Whidbey Weekly.
Volunteers
Many Audubon and community members have offered to volunteer. We could still use more volunteers in these role:
Friday, May 16, Set-Up: 11a.m. - 3 p.m. at Pacific Rim Institute:
Six volunteers are needed.
Volunteer tasks include moving and setting up tables, setting up canopies, moving picnic tables, setting up signage, setting up fencing.
Saturday, May 17, Pacific Rim Institute
Set-up 9 – 11 a.m.: four volunteers are needed to bring tables and chairs to nonprofit booths.
Parking: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., three volunteers needed; 12:30 – 2:30 p.m., three volunteers needed
Vendor parking and set-up support: 9 –11: two volunteers needed.
Breakdown: 3 – 5 p.m., six volunteers needed. Tasks: take down and put away fencing and signs; take down road banners; take down canopies; move picnic tables; put tables and chairs away.
